We got our truck and RV stuck in the mud!
We missed the turn off to our location and were trying follow our GPS to turn around.
After fours years of full time RV travel, we know better than to turn on random roads, but still yet we did it anyway. š¤Ŗ
Luckily, we also know that when these kinds of stupid things happen, they arenāt nearly as bad as they seem in the moment.
We feel frustrated at first then switch into problem solving mode to see what we can do to get out of the situation.
I usually google how to handle what ever the problem is and thankfully the internet is full of solutions to all sorts of problems.
Joseph is naturally a problem solver and is great at figuring out how things work. So between the two of us we usually can figure something out.
This time was no different. It took us a little bit of creativity and for Joseph to get knee deep in mud, but we were able to get out without a tow truck.
And once we were finally out of the mud and settled for the night, it was almost as if nothing had happened.
We had the privilege to experience the insanely generous hospitality of Greg and Lisa from . They even kept the winery open later for us so we had plenty of time to taste their wines and chat.
The winery is on gorgeous plot of land in ND and every single wine was delicious! Especially the Rhubarb wine, which I had never even heard of before!
If you are in the area, definitely make a stop here!
And the next time you find yourself in a frustrating situation like this, I hope you are able to remember that itās probably not as bad as it seems and to hang in there until you are on the other side.
Cheers š„and stay positiveļø!
