So many times I look back at photos of our travels and still can’t believe that we have been able to experience all of the amazing places and do all these amazing things that we have!

So many times I look back at photos of our travels and still can’t believe that we have been able to experience all of the amazing places and do all these amazing things that we have! This life and all it’s goodness is just more than I ever could have expected. . These gorgeous views were from our time in a town called Telluride. It was definitely one of the coolest towns we visited while we were in Colorado. . You could see the giant waterfall from the road (swipe right to see it) as you drove into town. It provided a pretty epic backdrop to the adorable city. . We only spent the day here hiking but this town had so much more to offer! Our dog was pretty spent by the end of our hike and didn’t really have the manners left for a night on the town too. So we called a night and went home for dinner instead. . But the next time we are in the area we plan to hit up all the other things that Telluride has to offer! . If you are still here reading my post, hey, thanks for the love ️. I am super far behind on posting our West coast travel and hope to remedy that quickly. . We are currently East coasting it and catching up with all the family and friends and enjoying the East coast fall life. . So thanks again for the love and taking the time to read my post!…and buckle up for an overload of all the west coast pics! . . . . . .

Y’all this is my heartbeat right here. Backpacking in the mountains with amazing views and my favorite people. . I’m pretty sure this looks far more like what most people thought we meant when we said we were going to be RVing full time. Right?! . Back in August we set out on our first family backpacking trip in the Mt. Hood National forest. After ALOT of prep work and research and gear purchasing, we finally were ready to get out there! . My mom heart could not be more stoked that my kids are wanting to do this kind of thing as they are getting older, and that all those hikes that we powered through when they were younger and whiny are finally paying off . . Tent camping is still the worst, for anyone that is wondering , but I loved being out in the wilderness and waking up in the mountains with the the sun and the birds, and getting to experience something new. . What about you? Does this sound like torture to you or an awesome way to adventure? .
