We absolutely love Banff National Park! We were here in 2019 and got to see Morraine Lake in all of it’s teal blue beauty.
We knew at the time of year that we were heading there this year, it may be frozen over so we didn’t have huge expectations for our time there.
As often is the case, the times when you don’t have huge expectations often surprise at being some of the most memorable!
We don’t get to see and play in snow often since we chase the sun. So my the kids were in total heaven sliding on the ice, throwing snow balls and making snow angels.
My advice to anyone traveling up to Alaska, give yourself plenty of time to enjoy Canada and all of it’s beauty on the way. You won’t be sorry!
