Portland was full of unexpected fun. ✹
You always have the bucket list of things you want to see and do when you visit a city. ✹
We hit up @saltandstraw ice cream in the Arts District (super cool area to visit), which is a typical tourist stop. We tried all sorts of interesting flavors like IPA, olive oil, and cream cheese bagel. ✹
But the 2 unexpectedly fun places we visited were:
1) @taooftea, where the kids got to taste all sorts of teas and foods from different countries…which all tasted amazing!….and
2) Electric’s Castle Wunderland, a nickel arcade. Definitely everyones favorite part! All the games cost anywhere from 1 – 4 nickels. You put money on a swipe card and played until you ran out. Which took a surprisingly long time! ✹
We had a blast in Portland even though we didn’t get to do all the touristy things we planned. It is definitely a city that we would visit again! ✹
