Don’t you love it when you leave spending time with new friends and this is how you feel? ✹
Yesterday, I shared the some of the downsides of social media. But today I want to share the good side. ✹
In our last stop in Washington (in August – yes, I’m still posting from August 🤫), we got to meet up with a super cool family that we met through Instagram. @our1chance ✹
We got to camp beside them for a week and we ALL had such an awesome time. ✹
The kids hit it off right away and were out playing from sunup to sundown everyday. I think I literally only saw them at meal times and bedtime….Which was nice since I’m usually with them 24/7 ✹ And getting to know Jen and Jerome, over the course of the week, was such a blessing too. I have never met up and camped beside people that we didn’t know and, to be honest,I was nervous how it would go. ✹
But they were so down to earth and welcoming, it very quickly felt like we had known each other forever. ✹
Without Instagram, we wouldn’t have even known these people existed and would have missed out on the beauty of their friendship.✹ So as with most things in life, there are good sides and bad sides to everything. Not being afraid to acknowledge the bad while focusing mostly on the good, is to me, what’s most important! ✹
