It’s not always sunshine and rainbows out here on the road.

It’s not always sunshine and rainbows out here on the road. But I do think this life gives you a condensed timeline to process intense situations and realize that they’re really not that big of a deal.
.
When we left Tucson we had several crazy predicaments happen all at once….at work, with our rig, and with travel, and to be honest we just wanted to curl up in a ball and go to sleep .
.
But often times with nomadic living, you have to keep moving even when you don’t want to. You don’t just get to have that hard pass.
.
I’m actually a huge fan of this forced disciple but in the moment it can feel frustrating.
.
We had planned to switch out all of our cheap tires when we got settled in Phoenix or Tucson this winter. But we forgot. Yep, we just forgot. No good reason, it just slipped our minds.
.
And 30 minutes into our trip from Tucson to Yuma, we heard a loud pop.
.
We pulled off the side of the highway and assessed the damage. We found a safe place to get the tire changed and got back on the road. (It definitely wasn’t as easy or stress free as it sounds).
.
This was our second blow out in a year 🤦🏻♀️ and this time it did a little more damage to our rig . Cars were also whizzing by at 70-80 mph shaking our rig every time they passed.
.
In the moment it felt really terrible and stressful but in the end it was all good. We got to Yuma and got our tires switched out with more quality ones and went on our merry way.
.
If you travel for as long as we have, stuff like this is going to happen. We just try to remember in the moment to stay calm and carry on. 😎
