Most of our posts are not in real time bc 1) I get tired of social media and just check out for a bit. 2) I want to share our journey somewhat chronologically and bc of reason I will probably forever be behind. 🤷🏻♀️ But we did this last weekend for Norah's birthday and I just wanted to go ahead and share! ✹
My kids first-ish time in a hotel, ever. They think that hotels/resorts are the coolest thing since we always travel by airbnb and rv. So when I found a Groupon that gave us lodging for 1 night and the waterpark for 2 days, for a totally doable price. I was sold. ✹
We drove right in and were able to park the travel trailer and truck right out front of the resort. Switching to a hotel from an RV definitely stressed me out a bit and made me appreciate the ease of traveling like we do. But it was fun to change it up and it made Norah feel super special that we did it to celebrate her birthday! ✹
Now, I won't share how everyone's behavior was the few days following this fun, exhausting experience. But needless to say, we had so much fun that we needed a few days to remember how to be nice to each other again. 🤪 ✹
