RV life has changed me.
.
We said goodbye to these amazing humans (@the_nomadi_kidds) a couple of weeks ago. We’ve lived in the same hometown for at least 20 years (some of us even longer) and we never hung out and most of us had never even met until 8 weeks ago when we all met up in FL.
.
It’s amazing to me how the rv life connects you to people and the depth that can happen in such a short amount of time.
.
I’m not sure why life is so different out here. Why people are more open to connection and spontaneous hangouts or even why I’m more open to these things on the road.
.
But it’s life changing.
.
I was just more closed off in our stationary life. More compartmentalized, less open. Being out here traveling for almost 4 years has changed me for the better.
.
And the people that I have added to my list of lifelong friends has grown so much too.
.
No, things aren’t perfect out here. There are plenty of people that aren’t your vibe and you aren’t theirs. There are still hurt feelings and betrayals, people that are trying to be cool, and people that are rude.
.
But more than not we have met some of the best of humanity and now have the privilege of calling them friends!
.
Would you or do you vacation or travel with friends? We never really did before this life. But I think that it helps that we can all bring our houses with us .
