One of the biggest questions we used to get all the time was, “Won’t you all be lonely on the road?”
.
And…”How will you socialize the kids?”
.
These are great questions, but honestly, we have to work hard to balance our social life and our “regular”life on the road. There are usually tons of great people around that we want to spend time with.
.
If you are looking to meet up with more people on the road here are a few tips that will hopefully help.
1. Get a membership. We have met so many people in Thousand Trails Parks and we continue to meet up every year!
2. Join an RV club specific to your RV brand. Most rig types have rallies and they meet up all over the country.
3. Join other RV groups like , , , (I’m sure there are more) – these clubs also provide meet ups several times a year all over the country.
4. Go to places where lots of RVers come together every year. Like the Florida RV Super Show in Tampa, or the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta.
5. Social Media. There are so many families that we have met on the road and were able to stay in touch and build a relationship with because of social media. There are also countless social media groups that can help you stay connect to other RVers and help you meet up in person!
6. And the last one, just be willing to put yourself out there and invite someone over for a happy hour or campfire!
