I heard this song tonight on my home from Target and let me tell you, it gives me all the feels for this man.

He is my everything. And I just can’t say it enough. I can’t believe that I am more in love with him today than I was 16.5 years ago….which I seriously didn’t even think was possible.

No, it’s not our anniversary. It’s just a random Wednesday. But when I think of what I want the world to know, it’s this.

Marriage was a freaking scary concept to me. And honestly I didn’t know if I would ever get married. But God had other plans and brought this phenomenal man into my life.

No he’s not perfect, but he has the most integrity of any man I’ve ever met. And he loves me in a way that makes me come alive and feel safe.

We’ve worked freaking hard on our marriage and learning how to be more whole people so we can love each other better. This has looked different in different seasons of our life and sometimes it was easier than others.

But one thing remains the same everyday; I am so glad that I chose him to be with until we’re grey and old!
