This is why we love Pacific City so much. This amazing spot is right across the street from our campsite. You can drive right down onto the beach or walk from the campground.

There is an awesome sand dune at the far end of the beach that the kids love to run up and down. When we were there this time, we even saw several people paragliding right off the dunes.

We love to drive over here for the afternoon, pack a lunch and the fire pit and stay until after sunset.

This is definitely one of my favorite spots on the Oregon Coast. I mean can you even believe that all of this epicness is right across the street from our “free” campground?!

Oh yeah, one thing to note for all my East coast friends. Always bring a warm coat to an Oregon beach. These beaches are some of the most gorgeous in the country but they aren’t often the warmest .
