We went on “vacation” to the NICEST RV park we have ever been to while we were in Colorado!

We went on “vacation” to the NICEST RV park we have ever been to while we were in Colorado! . I know, you thought we were always on vacation, didn’t you ?! But the reality is that moving consistently AND juggling work and school does wear you out sometimes. • So when travel fatigue sets in, I usually try to find a nice spot to settle down for a week or 2 that provides us with beauty and adventure right at our campsite. And then I force myself not to research what there is to do in the area so we will actually rest . This RV park was the perfect spot for that! . We found this amazing campground because our friends @restless_russells shared about @campspot in one of their stories! . We were looking for a place to stay in Colorado near Rocky Mountain National Park and were having a really hard time finding an RV park or State park with an opening! . We decided to search @campspot and we were soooo stoked to find this amazing campground! . They have EVERYTHING that you could want in a resort style campground. •Nice Pool •Restaurants with Full Bars •Bouncy Pillow •Paddle Boards • Arcade • Bowling Alley • Gorgeous outdoor spaces to hang • Golf Carts • Cabin rentals • A pond for boating/paddle boarding • Amazing 360’ Mountain views • And that upscale campground feel. . We met several awesome families while we were there too! I forgot to get photos of most of them but was glad that I snagged a photo of @humbledhomebigbackyard and @humbledhomedad before they left. . How do you vacation? Do you plan lots of activities and go, go, go all the time or do find a nice spot and settle in and relax for the week? . . . . . . @riverrunrvresort @sunrvresorts @wildwoodrvs @campendium

Y’all this is my heartbeat right here. Backpacking in the mountains with amazing views and my favorite people. . I’m pretty sure this looks far more like what most people thought we meant when we said we were going to be RVing full time. Right?! . Back in August we set out on our first family backpacking trip in the Mt. Hood National forest. After ALOT of prep work and research and gear purchasing, we finally were ready to get out there! . My mom heart could not be more stoked that my kids are wanting to do this kind of thing as they are getting older, and that all those hikes that we powered through when they were younger and whiny are finally paying off . . Tent camping is still the worst, for anyone that is wondering , but I loved being out in the wilderness and waking up in the mountains with the the sun and the birds, and getting to experience something new. . What about you? Does this sound like torture to you or an awesome way to adventure? .
